Sydney Harbor Bridge sometimes called the "coat hanger" is an iconic imagine of Sydney and all of Australia. Viewed from any vantage point it has its own special charm.

This offers a view of the old and new. Adelaide is known for its mild climate, gardens and museums. For us it was the start of our train trip to Alice Springs.

The concierge at the Alice Springs Plaza Hotel provided us with ideas for places to see Aboriginal art and helped us tour the local area.
Annamarie was fascinated by the Alice Springs School of the Air. Started in 1951 it is considered the "World's Largest Classroom" covering 502,000 square miles. NT children ages 4 to 15 receive their instruction via short wave radio. Teachers make yearly visits to students living on cattle stations, indigenous communities, camel farms, national parks, mining camps, road houses and remote police stations often traveling by airplane.
