(Our guide for this day was Peter Taylor -
Blue-breasted Fairy-wren. We were delighted to get this view of these exquisitely colored birds, and also with male and female so close together.
Splendid Fairy-wren. This little guy gave us a perfect pose. Bird photography should always be this easy.
Splendid Fairy-wren. (f)
New Holland Honeyeater.
Dusky Moorhen. These are much like Coots with with red on their faces and orange legs.
Willie Wagtail giving us a demo on wagging his tail. We had no doubt how he got his name.
Yellow-rumped Thornbill. We nearly missed getting a photo of this bird. If Peter had not pointed him out he would have gone unnoticed by us.
(In pouring down rain)
Pacific Black Duck.
King's Park and Botanical Gardens, Perth
Hybrid Mallard-Black Duck with ducklings.
