Perth Birds

(Our guide for this day was Peter Taylor -
Birding Southwest.)

Blue-breasted Fairy-wren.   We were delighted to get this view of these exquisitely colored birds, and also with male and female so close together.

Splendid Fairy-wren.   This little guy gave us a perfect pose.   Bird photography should always be this easy.

New Holland Honeyeater.

Brown Honeyeater.

Yellow-plumed Honeyeater.

Dusky Moorhen.   These are much like Coots with with red on their faces and orange legs.

Yellow-rumped Thornbill.   We nearly missed getting a photo of this bird.   If Peter had not pointed him out he would have gone unnoticed by us.
